Contractors and COVID-19 Safety Requirements  

Per UMD guidance, all campus visitors, including contractors, are required to adhere to the University’s current health-and-safety requirements. This includes wearing face coverings, maintaining physical distance of 6 feet or more, complying with local guidance on events and gatherings, practicing good hand hygiene, and monitoring daily symptoms.

To promote a safe work environment for all, UMD developed Contractor Requirements forWorking on Campus During COVID-19 which are inclusive of the university’s health-and-safety guidelines.  This information has been shared with all campus contractors.

 If you want to report an instance of apparent Contractor non-compliance, please contact Kimberly Watson, AVP for Procurement and Strategic Sourcing at watsonk@umd.edu.  All reported incidents of non-compliance will be addressed with the appropriate contract management team.
